Top Billin president Sir Nenis and Crossfaded Bacon’s big boss Emynd have both been pumping out heavy, club-friendly tracks for years now and let’s all be thankful they finally decided to get together and combine their influences. The first set of results from the duo are two massive tracks of big bass fun with old school electro synthlines and jackin’ beats. The first of many forthcoming collaborations between the two, this release showcases Sir Nenis and Emynd’s ability to combine ghetto and big room influences, making huge club tracks that will work across the borders. Straight from the Top Billin boys! Great music for a great cause!

Ok you’ve already been to few dance events to raise money Japan and have most likely donated money already, but read this and get your dose of new music while getting a change to help for a small amount (1€ even). Things move quickly in today’s world but the need for help isn’t going away in a couple of weeks. We want to do our part too.
So here’s what’s up:

“A while a go we had an opportunity to design a compilation exclusively for the Japanese market, that was supposed to come out in April this year. The idea was to make a compilation that would reflect us in 2011, including bits from our back catalogue as well as some unreleased exclusive gems. Our friend Nakura from Tokyo was doing his job as the project manager for this and his friend and our buddy, a DJ and producer named Eccy (awesome music btw) was also taking part in this project.

But as we all know Japan was hit with the most horrific disaster in their history, tearing down almost the whole country, leaving thousands dead and even more injured, homeless or without even food.

We sat in studio, watching the devastation on TV and wondered what could we do, we have friends there. On that very moment it was clear that we should use this compilation that was designed for Japan, to help Japan.

So now we’re giving it for you in exchange of small (or bigger, your choice) donation that will go directly to Red Cross Japan. We won’t take a penny, 100% goes directly to help the people in need in Japan. Why the Red Cross? Because with them you know money will go to those really in need. If Japan has enough money, then they will help people in Libya, so your money is never lost.

We read somewhere some bitter man’s comment that he won’t donate to Japan as their GDP (gross domestic product) is 33.100$ per person, that Japan does not need money. That’s bullshit, the devastation is so big, it will take Japan years to recover.

So join us, buy this compilation for as low as 1€ if you’re really broke, or if you got a paying job, maybe pay a bit more. You get dope tunes in exchange. We respect you for your willingness to help. Thank you, arigatou gozaimasu, kiitos.”

Dan Oh “Lysis/Ain’t Dead Yet” Available Now!

Another exciting new release from Crossfaded Bacon available right this second! Some hard, forward-thinking Electro House from Los Angeles’ own hallmark DJ and Producer DAN OH who has spent the last half-decade or so building his name as one of the most hardworking DJs in the city by spinning at the now legendary Cinespace Dim Mak Tuesdays in Hollywood alongside the internationally renowned superstar Steve Aoki as well as CROSSFADED BACON labelmate THEM JEANS. Also got some legitimately huge remixes by EMYND, THEM JEANS, CLUB CHEVAL, CLONING, and DAN SENA. As always, been getting a lot of great support from DJs all over the globe!

We’re circulating two songs so feel free to blog them or tweet about them or whatever it is kids do these days. The excellent “Lysis” original and Emynd’s remix of the same track.

Uncle Jesse *GLEN TECH EP* Available Now!

Back like cooked tomatoes, today marks the release date of the spectacular *GLEN TECH EP* by Baltimore duo Quincy and Noteman who make up the group Uncle Jesse. We’re really excited about this EP and the way it successfully brings together the Bmore duo’s influences—from Tech House and Electro to Drum n Bass, Bmore Club, and classic Chicago Filter House. We even have appearances from two absolute legends in the Baltimore Club scene—KW Griff who pops by for a grand remix of the title track, and godfather Scottie B who co-produced a track with the Uncle Jesse boys. Emynd did a hard-as-hell Philly style club mix as well with way too many Lil Jon “Whats.” Already getting support from some of the biggest DJs in Baltimore and abroad, it’s another truly unique release from the CFB boys.

A couple weeks ago we dropped the smash So Shifty *Wine Touch Clap* EP that has everyone from Diplo to Sinden singing its praises and next Tuesday, we got the tallest man in the scene Them Jeans amazing excursion into Big Room House territory with his *Beef EP*. These two releases are my favorite to grace the CFB landscape but before we spill the beans with snippets of the new Them Jeans release, let’s make sure you’re all caught up on the gems the man has blessed us with up to this point.

And now for something completely different… When I first envisioned the 1st & 15th Mix Series, I imagined it becoming slightly more diverse than it’s so far shaped up to be. This mix is the first step in attempting to push this mix series outward and onward. So, this time around, we invited our dude Sal Paradise to do a mix and he chose a really interesting change of pace with a long, live mix of Minimal Techno and Tech House. I’m not intimately schooled in a lot of this music so I found this mix really fun and eye-opening. It’s often dark and spacey, but moves along gracefully and is a really solid listen to front to back. Check out Sal’s blog for more info or go see him play in NYC sometime.
