yeah man. no footage from an actual white t’s party at the arts garage, but we love the love.also, me and emil started skating again. because of this, i was peeping some youtube footage of skaters. now, i haven’t really watched a skate video for a good 7 years. its pretty hard to believe how good people are now. my question is this… how much longer can the level of skating continue to be raised? besides competition, i don’t really know what is making switch kickflip backside nosebluntslides possible? whatever. anyway, my boy pete eldridge is fucking sick and way better than when i used to skate with him ten years ago(not surprisingly). here is some sick footage of him i was checking out. he kills switchstance and still has that dope, smooth, style.

one of the best parts about my 20â€™s has been me being able to see so many of my old friends succeed in shit they WANTED to do. life canâ€™t get much better. I SEE YOU PETE!!!

alright, that free shit came out last week. and oh yeah, that shit is blazing. the hectic news is that supposedly Beans’ shit has already leaked. DAMN!!! i was waiting all year bitching about albums not coming out and now i don’t even have time to listen to them all. jay–>free–>beans..

definitely can’t complain though. in fact i want to shoot you a link of the og track that was used for my current favorite song on the album(freeway’s)- “this can’t be real”. it is a gil scott heron track entitled “did you hear what they said?” of course i wouldn’t be posting it if it wasn’t dope itself.

This Saturday, them White Ts bols will be rocking out at Transit Nite Club with MSTRKRFT and our best buds from Ottawa, the Jokers of the Scene It’s only $10 ON THE LIST so get on that thing now and come party with us on Saturday. The Jokers and White Ts will be killing it house party style downstairs (and really, the basement at Transit is one of the best places in the city to DJ and to party) while MSTRKRFT will be doing their thing upstairs.

WTWB’S IN CANADA

That’s right folks me, emil, and dan are heading off to canada for the weekend. We will be in Ottawa on Friday, and Montreal on Saturday. Big thanks go to The Jokers of the Scene(Ottawa) and Dj Huggs(Montreal). This is the first time we have taken the whole party on the road since NYC in the spring so this is sure to be some ol’ crazy shit.

Philly: we will be back on Sunday rocking with Strawberry Mansion Dj’s at Silk City. Besides that we got some other big things lined up before the end of the month so we can all still get down family style in familiar surroundings. CHECK THE BLOG HOMIES!!!

Emil and I will be in Brooklyn tonight at The Royale in Park Slope. We are djing and celebrating Jess'(Jubilee) birthday. It’s free and you can find that bitch if you have half a clue and the internet, so come(10-???).

I made a mix of Biggie’s “Big Poppa” acapella over the “Buy U A Drank” beat w/ the hook. “Buy U a Drank” is old as shit but I went ahead and hooked this up for a few reasons.

1. Jess is from Florida(so is T-Pain).
2. Jess lives in Brooklyn(obvious).
3. This summer has been dry as shit for hip-hop bangers so I don’t feel bad playing this through September.
4. It sounds hot as shit and you know damn well I’m playing a Biggie set tomorrow.

Yooooooooo!!!! Thanks to everyone who came out to White T’s(on what’s supposed to be the deadest month of the year) and made it live as shit. Fuck the shore, and fuck going home for the summer(if you are of the college persuasion that is). Extra special shout outs go to DIPLO for coming through and rocking with us late night on the surprise set tip.

When I said fuck the shore, I definitely wasn’t talking about Avalon, NJ. Once a year my man Bobbles throws an event called “Bobblepalooza”. It’s a fund raiser for Multiple Sclerosis, which earned upwards of 10 stacks for the cause this year. Emil and I dj’ed it(killed shit son) for seven hours and only played 2 songs twice. We also drank for seven hours, and helped the party kill 40 FUCKING KEGS. Hate it or love it, this event brings out some colorful characters. One of them is showcased in this YouTube of an afterparty. Homes wore cowboy boots and tighty-whiteys(the yellow version) all day at the party while writhing around like a snake on a dance floor covered in beer, sweat, and spit.

Yes, he is bench pressing kegs.

I finally found someone that has more fun than me. Amazing.
