Meek Mill “It Takes Two (Emynd Mixable Edit)”

Just a quick mixable edit of Meek Mill’s mixtape version of “It Takes Two” to celebrate the release of the most anticipated mixtape in Philadelphia rap history, Flamerz 3. They EQed this shit all fucking weird so be careful if you try mixing it with the OG “It Takes Two.” They got the treble all the way turnt up for some reason.

Bed Rock (Emynd Pillow Bass Remix)

Bed Rock (Emynd Pillow Bass Remix) by Emynd

I’ve always loved Atlanta Bass stuff, even the super cheesy So So Def “Pillow Bass” steez, and I thought this song would sound good with that vibe. Kept it clean for radio play, too. Hope you enjoy!

Rihanna “Rude Boy” (Emynd Blend)

rudeboy by Emynd

Quick blend over Hi-Tek’s classic “Sun God” beat for Common and added Baby Cham’s verse from “Rude Boy Pledge” for obvious reasons. Hope you enjoy!

Them Jeans BEEF EP Available!

Steve Aoki: Two sweet groovy joints from the tallest dj I know!
Sinden: Flying rats is fresh!! supporting this!
Malente: “Flying Rats” It eats your brain. YE$! Â¥ES! Y€S!
DJ Neoteric ( Dubsided ): Feelin this release! Great remixes as well. For one time in my life I WANT Beef! The percussion in flying rats is slick! Full support!

Gonna keep it short for y’all today, but we’re back again with another huge release from the tallest DJ in the west, Them Jeans that is AVAILABLE NOW. Check the promo youtube above, but we got four massive songs for the biggest rooms possible on this release: Them Jean’s original compositions “Beef” and “Flying Rats” and two stunning remixes of “Beef” courtesy of Them Jeans’ LA party bros Dan Oh and Bobby Evans from Brother Reade. Dan Oh hits you over the head with a Bass-heavy romper while Bobby Evans takes another route, patiently producing a nearly 10 minute Tribal House anthem that’s straight out of the early 90s! But the real star here is Them Jeans himself, who treats us to two original Big Room House stompers that have everyone from Malente, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Sinden losing their shit. Also attached in the zip, we have an internet only Bmore remix by CFB head-honcho Emynd that isn’t available on the digital EP.

As always, we’re circulating a couple tracks from the EP on the blogs so please feel free to post them wherever you like.

Beyonce “Video Phone” (Emynd Bounce Remix)

A couple months back, my folks at Unruly Records were asked to get some remixes of “Video Phone” together. They shouted at me to get one together and I thought the jawn would sound cool sped up to Bounce speed. I didn’t want to use any samples in the remix, so that’s why the drums don’t have the authentic “Drag Rap” or “Brown Beat” sounds, but I think it’s a fun remix nonetheless. Additionally, this remix is a bit a interpolation of the classic Bounce joint by Big Daddie and Bossman’s “Ya Heard Me Part 2” which I’ve also posted below. You should be able to hear the similarities when you listen to both. Hope you enjoy!

So Shifty *Wine Touch Clap EP* Now Available

And today, we bring you the future! I’m so excited to introduce the world to So Shifty with their very first official release of their own original material here in the *Wine Touch Clap EP.* Everyone from Sinden to Diplo to Radioclit have been showing support to these dudes for months, and I’m so psyched this release finally came together. Featuring Ward 21’s Kunley, Tifa, Timberlee, and Natalie Storm (aka TNT) on vocal work, each of the three originals has a really unique and yet totally consumable vibe: these songs are forward-thinking yet accessible. The remixes all bang too: Them Jeans’ phenomenal Big Room House remix is absolutely massive while I provided a New Orleans Bounce remix that I think works quite well while French wunderkind Douster and the So Shifty boys round out the release with two more great remixes. Peep snippets of each song in the Youtube video above and then go cop that shit!

The OG “Wine,” and the Them Jeans Remix, are both below for y’all to download, blog, and distribute as you please. The rest of the EP can be purchased with the links below. If you blog the song, please provide links for purchase.

Lil B “I Want Your Bitch” (Prod by Emynd)

So I flew out to the Bay this summer to build with young homie Lil B the Based God (aka Lil B from The Pack aka “the Rawest Rapper Alive”) who is not only the king of Myspace (over 100 myspace pages!), but he’s also one of the nicest, most genuine, interesting, good hearted, and talented people I’ve ever met. Truly blessed to have this dude in my life. He definitely makes some eccentric music and I’m really happy to be working with dude. The first youtube posted above is a song we threw together this summer that we didn’t really get to finish up, but he went ahead and threw it on his latest mixtape 6 Kiss anyway. I ain’t mad though! It sounds kinda good even though there’s some really rough bits–kind’ve adds to the aesthetic. That being said, most of “6 Kiss” is substantially better than this track (and not quite as uhm, vulgar?). Need proof? Check the video for “Myspace” also above which is a tremendous mixtape cut. B just murders it on that ish.

But, anyway, consider this an introduction to me and homie. Hopefully we’re going to be building on a lot of stuff in the future and I’m really excited about it. He’s all over the place musically these days working with folks as disparate as Soulja Boy and Diplo on the latest Gucci tape. I’ve posted our song for download below if you’re into it, but please support the dude by copping the “6 Kiss” album on Amazon (by the way, I’m Thraxxx is also worth your money!). I’ve really never met a kid more devoted to putting out art and he really puts everything into it. There’s nobody in the world I want to succeed more than Lil B and I really encourage you to support artists like this with your hard earned cash.

Don’t forget to follow his ass on twitter!
