REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPP!
I’m re-posting this because many of you may have missed it when I posted it back in November of 2008, but it still sounds fresh as hell and I’m pretty sure the sharebee link below still works. This shit hard as fuck!
Today, Crossfaded Bacon is mighty proud to present the digital release of Emynd‘s newest Bmore Club track *We Don’t Give A …” with Rocafella and Def Jam recording artist Young Chris. A member of the Philly super group State Property and the hit-making duo The Young Gunz, Young Chris is one of Philly’s most versatile rappers, fully capable of making certified street shit as well as forward-thinking club jams. Emynd set out to make a contemporary sounding track that linked Philly’s tradition of percussion heavy club anthems (think Tuff Crew “My Part of Town”, Cool C “Glamorous Life”, Freeway “Flipside, and the Young Gunz “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop”) with Philly’s city-wide obsession with Bmore Club (often colloquially refered to in Philly as “Club” or “Party Music”). Chris wound up being the perfect rapper to effortlessly make that link a reality. Already getting support from a variety of DJs all across the globe, we fully expect this track to do big things both within Philly and elsewhere, and we encourage you all to distribute this track as freely as you like: post it on your blog, add it to your Myspace player, send it to your girl friend, remix it, or whatever.
And, as always, please feel free to hit us with your comments on it.
320 MP3s and even higher quality AIFFs are available below. Shouts out to Young Noz from cbrap.com for the Cool C “I Gotta Habit” cover art and even bigger shouts to US Dubstep king Starkey for helping mix this record and mastering it.

This is awesome and you’re not unless you download it right now and enjoy the living hell out of it! Eleven’s words on it:
“I don’t really know how else to put this… I’m a big Devin The Dude fan!
He’s the perfect combination of an exceptionally talented musician, a great MC, and a hilarious & charismatic guy. He’s been co-signed by and been on records with everyone from Scarface to Kool G Rap, The Roots to Jay-Z, Dre and Snoop to De La Soul. (And that’s only the big names! I’d be typing all day if I listed everyone that ever called him for a guest verse or some singing on a chorus.) Just before the first of the year, I sat down & started going through everything he’s ever been on to unearth all my personal favorites. While doing that, in addition to wishing I smoked weed, I got to thinking on how similar Devin was to another Dude character. Months later, the unholy combination of Devin Copeland + Jeffrey Lebowski + Joe Eleven emerged from the laboratory. And with that…”
But wait! If you like the mix, make sure you cop Devin’s new album, “Suite #420″ when it drops next week. On 4/20. (Ha) You can find buy links & all his tour dates on Devin’s myspace

Back like cooked tomatoes, today marks the release date of the spectacular *GLEN TECH EP* by Baltimore duo Quincy and Noteman who make up the group Uncle Jesse. We’re really excited about this EP and the way it successfully brings together the Bmore duo’s influences—from Tech House and Electro to Drum n Bass, Bmore Club, and classic Chicago Filter House. We even have appearances from two absolute legends in the Baltimore Club scene—KW Griff who pops by for a grand remix of the title track, and godfather Scottie B who co-produced a track with the Uncle Jesse boys. Emynd did a hard-as-hell Philly style club mix as well with way too many Lil Jon “Whats.†Already getting support from some of the biggest DJs in Baltimore and abroad, it’s another truly unique release from the CFB boys.
Check the 10 minute promo mix hooked up by my man Tha 1 Who Trevs and feel free to download, blog, and share these two tracks:
You can purchase the EP at these fine digital outlets below. And please do anything you can to support us, whether it’s spreading the word, playing these tracks at your local party, or putting them on your mixtapes. We’re all savvy enough to download this shit for free these days, but the fact of the matter is we rely on your support in order to keep doing this. So please recogznie that your hard-earned dollars are sincerely appreciated!
Just a quick mixable edit of Meek Mill’s mixtape version of “It Takes Two” to celebrate the release of the most anticipated mixtape in Philadelphia rap history, Flamerz 3. They EQed this shit all fucking weird so be careful if you try mixing it with the OG “It Takes Two.” They got the treble all the way turnt up for some reason.
I’ve been bitching constantly on Twitter about how there’s already way too many “How Low” remixes floating around, none of which are close to touching the perfection that is the original. So, my completely stupid way of voicing my distaste for this over-abundance of remixes was to do a cheeky, fun, non-club-focused remix as a completely ineffective and hypocrtical protest. So I threw the acapella on top of War’s classic “Low Rider” and re-arranged things a bit making it into a fun little BBQ blend.
Steve Aoki: Two sweet groovy joints from the tallest dj I know! Sinden: Flying rats is fresh!! supporting this! Malente: “Flying Rats” It eats your brain. YE$! Â¥ES! Y€S! DJ Neoteric ( Dubsided ): Feelin this release! Great remixes as well. For one time in my life I WANT Beef! The percussion in flying rats is slick! Full support!
Gonna keep it short for y’all today, but we’re back again with another huge release from the tallest DJ in the west, Them Jeans that is AVAILABLE NOW. Check the promo youtube above, but we got four massive songs for the biggest rooms possible on this release: Them Jean’s original compositions “Beef†and “Flying Rats†and two stunning remixes of “Beef†courtesy of Them Jeans’ LA party bros Dan Oh and Bobby Evans from Brother Reade. Dan Oh hits you over the head with a Bass-heavy romper while Bobby Evans takes another route, patiently producing a nearly 10 minute Tribal House anthem that’s straight out of the early 90s! But the real star here is Them Jeans himself, who treats us to two original Big Room House stompers that have everyone from Malente, Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Sinden losing their shit. Also attached in the zip, we have an internet only Bmore remix by CFB head-honcho Emynd that isn’t available on the digital EP.
As always, we’re circulating a couple tracks from the EP on the blogs so please feel free to post them wherever you like.
You can purchase the EP at these fine locations! We appreciate your support immensely! I know y’all know how to download these songs somewhere or other, but what really keeps us going is the fact that people are willing to support our releases! And we appreciate it!
