Taken straight from the Do It To It Volume 3 (Click for the awesome artwork!!) that was unveiled at the release party at SXSW, here’s my remix of Wale’s great song with Gucci Mane “Pretty Girls.” I guess the OG is technically on some Go-Go ish, but I made a remix with some more accentuated Go-Go Drums and got my dude Reef the Lost Cauze to kick a new verse.

I’ve been bitching constantly on Twitter about how there’s already way too many “How Low” remixes floating around, none of which are close to touching the perfection that is the original. So, my completely stupid way of voicing my distaste for this over-abundance of remixes was to do a cheeky, fun, non-club-focused remix as a completely ineffective and hypocrtical protest. So I threw the acapella on top of War’s classic “Low Rider” and re-arranged things a bit making it into a fun little BBQ blend.

He keeps it pretty standard with some classic Bmore shit and then moves into some hood anthem rap shit. Really smooth and just a fun mix. Scottie B is the consummate professional DJ. He kills every single crowd. Really psyched he let us post this. Only wish we had a mic set up so you could hear the crowd chanting along to all the words as he drops the volume for them to sing along (I placed air horns over the blank spaces ’cause they sound weird without drunk folks singing along).
