Ding Dong’s “Badman Forward†/ Reel 2 Reel’s “Move It†(Emynd Blend)
Man, the best thing about Serato [besides saving my back (PAUSE)] is that you can whip something up and try it out at the club THAT NIGHT. I dropped this relatively simple, re-sequenced, & re-worked blend of Ding Dong’s “Badman Forward†on top of Reel 2 Reel’s timeless corny house anthem “Move It†at the club last night and it was by far one of the most effective things I played all night. Certainly not something for all crowds, but the Ding Dong vocals add some fresh life to this track and makes it significantly less corn-infused. I’m particularly happy with the swooping delay that leads right up to the Ding Dong vocal drop.
Like Bliz’s recent Mavado blend here this was inspired by Federation Sound’s blend of Vybz Kartel on top of “Show Me Love.”
